Hong Kong means different things to different people. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
A joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR Government).
In 2006, Hong Kong Disneyland ranked among the top five most popular places to visit in Hong Kong, according to the Hong Kong Tourism Board's annual Statistical Review.
Location
Lantau Island, located in Penny's Bay on the northeast end of the island, 10 minutes from Hong Kong International Airport and less than 30 minutes by train or motorway from downtown Hong Kong.
Transportation & Parking
Disney-themed MTRC-Disneyland Resort Line trains connect the resort with the Hong Kong train system at Sunny Bay Station. Ferry services are in the planning stages for the Disneyland Resort Pier. Franchised buses available to connect to the Hong Kong bus network.
Spaces for 1,000 autos and 300 coaches in main parking area, additional parking at hotels. All-Day Parking: HK$120 per private car.
Hong Kong Disneyland Park
A family entertainment park inspired by the original Disneyland in California; major shows and adventures plus nine shops, eight restaurants and guest service facilities. With exciting future plans for expansion, the current park is divided into four carefully themed lands: Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. The rest of the space is taken up with backstage (i.e. park support) areas.
