Studies have proven that teeth whitening procedures carried out under the supervision of a dentist are very safe, and do not cause any harm to the enamel surfaces of the teeth.
The conventional method of whitening, or Home Whitening, is when the dentist makes a tray that fits your teeth surfaces, and then dispense whitening gel which the patient can apply at home.
The other alternative is In-office Whitening, such as "Zoom" and "Britesmile",where the patient has the whitening done at the dental office. The dentist shines a special light source to activate the whitening gel that is being applied on the teeth surfaces. This procedure takes approximately one hour to complete.
Our clinic provides both in-office and home whitening. No one method of whitening is completely superior to the other. During the consultation, our dentists will discuss in details the pro and cons of each, and decide which is the best option to suit your needs.
